Robust, durable and cut-resistant conveyor belts are a must in meat and poultry processing. Cuts can be made on the Siegling Transilon belts with their thick PVC coatings and multi-layered fabric without having to exchange the belt immediately.
Siegling Transilon conveyor and processing belts are resistant to nearly all commercially available cleaning agents. So frequent cleaning is not a problem! The robust nature of the material and its oil and grease resistance mean a long service life.
Siegling Prolink modular belts made of polyacetal (POM) are tough and cut-resistant. So in "jointing" they have often been invaluable. The open modular structure (porosity of up to 20 %), substantial resistance to cleaning agents as well as high temperatures make cleaning a lot easier. The HACCP modular belts, in contrast to conventional belts, also do not provide microorganisms with any nutrients to metabolize. So if cleaned frequently, it has been shown to be almost impossible for organisms to multiply.
