Whether the picked fruit or vegetables are passed on to be transported off or conveyed by layboy tape to the packaging machinery at the end of processing, Forbo Siegling modular or light materials handling belts do the job. A high level of resistance to fruit acids and oils combined with resistance to widely available cleaning agents increase the durability and therefore the service life of the conveyor belts.

Apart from PVC and urethane coated conveyor belts, ProLink modular belts are used in a variety of applications. Particularly when washing fruit and vegetables modular belts are excellent because of their porosity and therefore decrease drainage time.

Both Transilon conveyor belts made of PVC and urethane as well as modular belts made of polypropylene (PP) are entirely safe, hygienic and odourless.
