Already in the manufacture of regular curd which is mainly used for making traditional layered, soft and semihard cheese Forbo Siegling PVC-coated coagulator belts have been used successfully for years. Apportioning and cutting finished cheese products is carried out on wear and cut-resistant conveyor belt surfaces or modular belts particularly well suited for this purpose. Both coated conveyor and modular belts are used when hardening freshly waxed cheeses and when labelling and packaging afterwards.

Soiled conveyor and modular belts can be easily cleaned with widely available agents and water. The new HACCP conveyor and modular belts are highly suitable for use with unpackaged foodstuffs as they do not provide a nutrient base for bacteria to metabolize.
